10/10 - Gospel Fluency // Pastor Jamal Fletcher

10/10/21 | We are so grateful to Pastor Jamal and his family for 13 years of faithful and incredible ministry here at First Assembly as our beloved youth pastor! We love him and his entire family and we celebrate all that God has done through them.

On his final Sunday morning with us, Pastor Jamal preaches a sermon titled: "Gospel Fluency." Reading from 2 Timothy 4:1-5, he takes us through some of Paul's final words to his protégé Timothy. Pastor Jamal challenges us to be proponents of the gospel, because it is the gospel that makes people come alive (John 4:13-14); we need to make the case how Jesus is better! Pastor Jamal's words to us are clear: Daily Allow the Gospel to Measure You First. In order to do this well:

A. Be honest with yourself.

B. Encourage yourself in Christ.

C. Be patient with yourself.

D. Immerse yourself within the process.
