01/16/22 | Can you imagine what could happen if we gave control of our life to God? It’s scary, but the benefits are world-altering. The story of Elisha challenges us to answer God’s calling and take the risks that are necessary to do His will. Come see what life can look like when we let go…when we decide to have Ridiculous Faith.

In Week 2, Pastor Matt asks, “How do I have faith in a ridiculous situation?” Sometimes it feels like we’re digging a ditch in the middle of the desert. By looking at Elisha’s example in 2 Kings 3, where we see God instruct his people to do just that, we see the answer is to “Catch what God is doing,” knowing that being willing to do the menial is what prepares us for the miracle. In order to “catch” what God is doing, we need to:

1) Recognize God (Romans 1:20)

2) Consult God (Isaiah 30:18)

3) Focus on what’s in front of you (Matthew 23:12; 2 Tim. 4:2)
