03/05/23 | “Running Where Jesus Walked”

03/05/23 | Pastor Matt shares what it was like to witness the Holy Land as 26 people from our church recently came back from a trip to Israel. Each point in the message ties back to places that the group was able to visit, sharing not only its significance, but their personal testimonies of how God moved as well.

Pastor Matt talks about how “Running Where Jesus Walked” supercharges your faith. Yet whether or not you’re able to visit Israel, the Apostle Peter writes that it’s possible to “share the same precious faith as we have” (2 Peter 1:1). In other words, no matter who you are, you can have a supercharged faith and experience the love, peace, purpose, presence, and joy that comes from knowing God!

Whether you were able to “run where Jesus walked” or not, ALL of us have the call from God to “run where Jesus didn’t walk.” Relating the experiences of people on our trip, the Holy Sites that were visited, and the words of Holy Scripture, Pastor Matt challenges us in three ways:

1) Pray like God hears you (Romans 8:11, 15)

2) Pursue unity (Galatians 5:15; Ephesians 4:2-3)

3) Point everyone to Christ (Acts 1:8)
