Everyday Witness
Jesus calls you to be an influence! You don’t need the gift of evangelism to make an impact—you simply need a willingness to be an everyday witness. Through the story of Philip and the Ethiopian in Acts 8, we’ll discover how stepping out, speaking up, and sharing truth can make a difference. When we live on mission, God can use us in ways we never imagined!
Week 1: Step Out
03/02/25 | Acts 8:26-31
God calls us to step out in faith, even when it feels uncomfortable. In Acts 8, Philip followed the Holy Spirit’s leading to approach the Ethiopian official—trusting that God was already at work, even without knowing the outcome. This week, we’ll explore what it means to step out by following God’s calling over our comfort, breaking the routine, and stepping into what He is already doing.
Week 2: Speak Up
03/09/25 | Acts 8:29-35
God calls us to speak up - testifying to what we’ve seen, heard, and experienced about Jesus. In Acts 8, Philip stopped and had a conversation with the Ethiopian official when he overheard him reading from the book of Isaiah. Being invited to help the official understand what was being read, Phillip had the opportunity to speak up and simply talk about what he knew about Christ. This week, we’ll explore what it means to speak up by initiating spiritual conversions, engaging people who are different from us, developing tact and relationships, and by guiding people closer to Christ.
Week 3: Share Truth
03/16/25 | Acts 8:30-40
The Gospel is too good to keep to ourselves! In Acts 8, Philip didn’t just step out and speak up—he shared the truth about Jesus. As believers, we are called to do the same. This week, we’ll discover how to confidently own the Gospel message, name-drop Jesus in everyday conversations, and invite others to take their next step in faith. Will you share the truth?
