Day 5: Supplication

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:4-7 (NKJV)

As we’ve come to God in worship, confession, and thanksgiving, let us make our requests known to God.

Whatever you come to Him for, ask Him with thanksgiving attached to each need you bring up. You may find this challenging at first, but continue to do so with each of your requests.

Where do you need God? What situation is bothering you? Do you have a list that you normally pray through?

Do you need wisdom, encouragement, or something else? His resources are infinite, and He wants to move in your life.

Is it something that only God can do? What a powerful testimony it will be when He does it. Be ready for Him to answer it differently than you may expect.

Remember, He’s given you The Holy Spirit. Ask for His help today.

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
