11/28 - Carols | 1. “O Holy Night”

11/28/21 God is with us – in answered promises, realized dreams, and refreshed hope. How could we help but sing? This December, we're exploring the songs born from our joy that Christ has entered the world.

In Week 1, Pastor Jeff talks about the origins and theology of the famous carol, "O Holy Night," what many believe to be the first song ever played over radio waves in the United States. It's sobering line, "a weary world rejoices," gives us hope for what we're facing this Christmas season. Reading the prophet Jeremiah's words from Lamentations 3, Pastor Jeff shows us that:

1) A new day with Christ brings exactly what you need (v. 24)

2) A new day with Christ brings you hope to keep going (v. 25)

3) A new day with Christ, it brings the help you're seeking (v. 26)
