Reflecting on the Journey

Reflections

12/29/24 | 1 Kings 19:1-13

In between Christmas and New Years, we tend to reflect on the past year as we head into the future. As we reflect on the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 19, we’re reminded of that trials will come after victories, and although we may respond as humans, because we are, we’re reminded that we serve a supernatural God. Regardless of the voices we’re surrounded by in the midst of our trials, we need to focus on God’s voice. His voice will reassure us, restore us, bring peace to us, and will guide us through our trial into our next victory.

The Dream Journey

1/5/25 | 1 Corinthians 9:24

What is God’s dream for your future? Maybe you have some dreams. Maybe you don’t. But in order to get to God’s dreams, we must run the race in order to get to the prize as the Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 9:24.

To run the race, it requires humility, perseverance, and keeping God as the center so that we can get to our prize, Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our life.
